How to remove water vapor in WRF model?

Hi all,

I would like to remove water vapor in a specified region during simulation to test the response of a system (such as cyclone) without water vapor transport.

Does anyone have idea how to remove water vapor during simulation?

Duding,
Do you mean that you want turn off water vapor transport to the specified region but still keep the moist processes inside ? If so, you may try to set RQVFTEN = 0 over the region. RQVFTEN is the total advective moisture tendency. You will need to modify relevant codes to do so.
