how to run ra_lw_physics=1 and ra_sw_physics =0 without crashing?

I have been trying to run an idealized simulation using a longwave radiation scheme and removing shortwave radiation. The simulation crash every time ra_lw_physics=1 and ra_sw_physics =0. Is there a way to run an idealized simulation turning shortwave radiation off?

I tried the option to use Held-Suarez relaxation scheme. ra_sw_physics =31, but it didn't work.

I am suspicious that the model crashed due to unreasonable physics. What error messages did you get?
The model cannot always work when some physics options are not correctly specified.
