how to set "free-slip walls on the north and south boundaries"

To use free-slip walls on the north and south boundaries is mentioned in Nolan's paper(Evaluating Environmental Favorableness for Tropical Cyclone Development with the Method of Point-Downscaling). I wonder how to set these in idealized WRF simulations, because I am just knowing periodic, open and symmetric boundary conditions on X and Y direction on namelist.input file.
