Initial condition using .nc file instead of GRIB.2

How to initialize the WRF model using long-term CORDEX climate data, if data is in .nc format, instead of .GRIB1/2? OR
Can we run (Initial condition) the WRF model using CORDEX climate data .nc format instead of GRIB1/2 format.?

You will need to write your NetCDF input to the "intermediate format" expected by the metgrid program. See this section of the WRF Users' Guide that explains this. Furthermore, please do a search of this forum for other scripts, etc. used to help with this process.
