Hello! I'm working with WRF 4.2.2 ideal case seabreeze 2D, which is initialized with a single sounding profile by default. I wonder if there is a way to prescribe the initial condition with realistic data like ERA5 instead? Say instead of just using one vertical profile across the domain, is it possible to use real input with spatial variability?

Hi Liu,
I don' think you can run the ideal case with spatially varying data as input. This case is not designed to work in that way.
