Issue configuring WRF

Hi,
I have been following the tutorial https://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/OnLineTutorial/compilation_tutorial.php and all the library compatibility tests are fine. However, when I configure to build WRF, I get the following message:

Testing for NetCDF, C and Fortran compiler
One of compilers testing failed!
Please check your compiler

Thanks for any advice in advance.

Your configure file indicates that you try to build WRF using PGI. However, the error message indicates that you may not have PGI installed in your machine. Please talk to your computer manager, find what compiler is available in your machine, and make sure netCDF is compiled using the same compiler you will use to build WRF.
