Hi MPAS folks,
Is there going to be support for using input meteorological data in MPAS on Lambert Conformal grids soon? I've run into error messages saying it's not supported when trying to initialize MPAS from RAP data, which is provided on a Lambert grid. I did run across a github PR for Lambert Conformal input data support (Capability for understanding data in Lambert conformal projection implemented by MHBalsmeier · Pull Request #1319 · MPAS-Dev/MPAS-Model), but I wasn't sure if there was a timelime for that or if it had already been implemented somewhere else.
