Macro –DCLWRFGHG added to configure.wrf, then wrf fails to compile

Hello. I try to use the time-varying GHG and find relevant posts in the forums (Figure 1) , then i operate according to the method described, but WRF fails to compile (Figure 2 :the first error presents) . configure.wrf is shown in Figure 3.
I would be thankful if you could help.

The reason for wrf compilation failure is that DCLWRFGHG was added in the wrong position. The correct method for adding is shown in the figure.

Hi,
Does this mean you have overcome the problem now? If you're using WRF version 4.4 or later, this configuration is no longer necessary, and this is simply controlled with a namelist option "ghg_input=1" in the &physics record. See the Radiation section of the WRF Users' Guide (scroll down to the section "Input to Radiation Options."

Yes, i have overcome the problem. How can I confirm if external data has been correctly read? Thanks.
