Mean Radiant Temperature

Dear WRF community,

I have a question about mean radiant temperature. As well as I know, WRF does not provide mean radiant temeprature as an output. Are there any ways to obtain mean radiant temperature at spatial scale from the WRF results?

Hi,
You likely could use a post-processor - for e.g., you could modify one of the NCL scripts to calculate the values you're interested in. You also could write a script in any language (e.g., python) to calculate the values, based on available output variables.
