Missing value in intermediate files

Hi, I trie to write meterological gridded field to intermediate files in my own. However, I found that there are some missing value in some field, take UU for example, 9.96920997E+36 which represents missing value will get in the written intermediate files.
Should I change this value in the written intermediate files? If so, what is the number?

Hi,
Take a look at the file WPS/metgrid/METGRID.TBL, which has fill_missing values for each variable. Hopefully that should help!
