Hi,
I wanted to know if model re-initialization is required if analysis/spectral nudging is being used. If yes what is the generally accepted/used frequency of the re-initialization?

I first would like to apologize for the very long delay in response to this inquiry. It seems this section of the forum was overlooked for the past few months. Thank you for your patience.

As it has been a while since you posted, I assume you likely have moved forward?
If not, can you explain exactly what you mean by "re-initialized?" Do you mean running the entire case again, starting with the WPS process, or re-running real? I guess I need to understand what you have already done, and what you are wondering about needing to do again. Thanks!
