Modified wrfrst files in nested domains

Hello everyone!
I am an MSc student working on cloud seeding with the WRF-Chem model.
I am preparing a restart run with two nested domains, and I want to increase the NaCl concentration at a specific location by modifying the restart files (wrfrst_d01 and wrfrst_d02).
My question is:
If the location lies inside both domains, do I need to modify both wrfrst_d01 and wrfrst_d02, or is modifying only one of them sufficient (and if so which of them)?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I suggest that you modify NaCl in both wrfrst_d01 and wrfrst_d02. This is because once wrf.exe started, feedback will be activated and the modified variables in the child domain will affect values in its parent domain.
