moving nests

WRF documentation describes moving nests for 2 options: vortex following and preset moves.
In case of preset moves would it be possible to provide a file containing the hurricane position as a function of time?
The center of the nested grid should follow the hurricane position in the file.
Hope someone knows if WRF does support this kind of input.

WRF doesn't currently support this, but you may be able to modify the code to do something like this.
