Non Leap Year Run

Hi,

I want to run MPAS without 29th February for the leap years. Can someone kindly tell how to do this? Will setting the config_calendar_type to gregorian_noleap in namelist.init_atmosphere and namelist.atmosphere solve this? Or I have to make some additional changes and then recompile the model?

The option config_calendar_type = 'gregorian_noleap' is what you need. With this option, every year has 365 days.
