pan evaporation

Hello everyone,

I am currently looking for an output variable from WRF that could act as a substitute or closely approximate pan evaporation, or perhaps a formula to calculate it. Unfortunately, the default variables in the wrfout files do not seem to include this specific measure. I have tried using QFX for estimation, but the results have not been very satisfactory.

Has anyone encountered similar challenges or found a reliable method to address this?

I am sorry that WRF doesn't output pan evaporation. Hope someone in the community may have a better idea how to get this variable.
