Possible bug regarding variable 'rho_a' declared in two separate modules

Hello,
A constant called 'rho_a' (=1.28) is declared in module "mpas_atmphys_constants". Two other instances of 'rho_a' declarations are in mpas_atmphys_interface.F and mpas_atmphys_driver_microphysics.F, where 'rho_a' represents the dry hydrostatic pressure. Both of these modules use 'mpas_atmphys_constants', so there seems to be conflict regarding the declaration of 'rho_a'. The parameter (1.28) doesn't seem to be used by any other module, so perhaps not an issue. Not sure how this is getting past the compilers. Thoughts?
Thank you.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for raising this issue.

My understanding is that "rho_a" in "mpas_atmphys_interface.F" and "mpas_atmphys_driver_microphysics.F" are local variables. Although they have the same name "rho_a", they are not the "rho_a" defined in mpas_atmphys_constants. F.

Please let me know if you have more questions regarding this issue. Thank you.
