Recommendation for long run using spectral and observation nudging

Hello,
I would like to ask for a recommendation about my study case.
I need to perform a 4 years long simulation using ERA5 data 0.25 degrees as input with a final resolution of 0.05 degrees. I though about using spectral nudging to prevent the model from drifting away from initial conditions and observation nudging using data from a tall tower at the center of the domain to force the model to reproduce well the winds. The site is meteorologically complex because the domain center sits almost at the foot of the Italian Alps. I wanted to avoid doing a nested run as it would significantly increase the computational time. My final goal is to then use the WRF data as input for STILT to calculate footprints. Is this approach acceptable? I attach my namelist.input of a month test.
