Please i need explanations on model level and height. This is what i want to use it for:
I am comparing temperature observations data with that of model

Observation Model
lat lon T Height lat lon modellevel Height

The observation data are few while the model data are numerous. How do i conpare the observation with the model data considering the model level?

You need to interpolate model data (both horizontally and vertically) to your observational site (lat/lon and vertical height). Then you can compare model output with Observations.

We provide MET package to do the verification. Please take a look at the website:
