(RESOLVED) PREPBUFR Format Data

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to use WRF for modelling synoptic data over Australia and the only data source I can find for this region on the NCAR website is the NCEP ADP Global Upper Air and Surface Weather Observations (PREPBUFR format), https://rda.ucar.edu/datasets/ds337.0/index.html#!docs.

However, this is in PREPBUFR format which is not being read in to the WPS model I am building. How do I get this synoptic data in to the model so that I can integrate climate data in to my WRF model?

Hi,
There are several sources of global first-guess data that can be used to run WRF. Take a look at this page:
