Run-time IO effect on performance

Is there any reduction in IO performance using the run-time IO facility compared with the alternative method of modifying the registry?

I apologize for the delay. We temporarily had a "topic approval" clause in place for first-time posts, but we weren't receiving the notifications for those. This one fell into that category, and it was just discovered today. I'm very sorry.

To answer your question, there should not be any difference in IO performance when using the run-time IO feature.
