I am facing a segmentation fault with invalid memory reference. I tried changing timesteps and radt bt it didnt worked. I am using 96 processors. Please help its urgent, as i have some deadlines and need to complete it. Help as soon as possible. I am pasting my namelist and error file, please help.

I have moved your post from the original place you posted (here: https://forum.mmm.ucar.edu/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=8508&e=1&view=unread#unread) to open a new topic. Segmentation faults can happen for many different reasons, and typically they aren't the same reason as someone else. So that we can keep the topics clean and easy to read, it's best to open your own new topic when you run into a problem. It also seems that you posted on several other topics. Again, to keep the topics organized, and to not create unnecessary work for our group, we ask that you only post one time per problem.

Without seeing all of your rsl* files, I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty confident that you likely have CFL errors. If you issue:

grep cfl rsl*
You will have many CFL prints. We recommend setting your time_step to no more than 6xDX. For e.g., if your dx=30000 (or 30 km), then you shouldn't set time_step to any more than 180. Since your DX=1500, you shouldn't set it any larger than 9. Try to decrease that and see if that helps any. If you get any additional seg-faults, please package all of your rsl.* files together in one *.TAR file and attach that to your response. Please also attach your new namelist.input file.
