smallest nesting

Hi everyone. I hope you are doing verywell.I am new in WPS. I want to know can I have a nesting of 1km by 1 km.does the data has this resoloution. will it crush?

As long as the parent_to_grid_ratio of your domains are no more than about 5:1, it could work. This includes the ratio between the input data and your d01 (parent domain). People have run 1km simulations in the past, with success.

Thanks kwerner for your response. I mean to have a nest size of 1km by 1km not grid size. for example my smallest domain area is 1km by 1km.

I see. This is okay as long as your domain sizes (e_we x e_sn) are no smaller than 100 x 100 grid spaces.
