some questions about Maritime Aerosol Model in WRF/ module_ra_aerosol.F/ the distribution of sea salt aerosol

Hello,
I want to ask some questions about Maritime Aerosol Model in WRF.
In namelist, I chose RRTMG,
mp_physics = 2,
aer_opt = 2,
aer_type = 3.
And the simulated area is half ocean and half land.
I want to know that in the Maritime Aerosol Model (module_ra_aerosol.F),
  1. Does the influence of sea salt aerosol (SSA, that is, its radiation effect) cover the whole simulation area or only its distribution area?
  2. What is the distribution of SSA in the model? How to locate its distribution?
  3. How can I to know the horizontal and vertical concentration distribution of SSA? Are there any related physical quantities displayed or calculated?
Thanks!

Hi,
I looked at the codes related to SSA influences. SSA radiative effects cover the entire model domain.
I haven't figured out yet how to exactly identify SSA distribution, which is decstribed in various subroutines in codes of phys/module_ra_aerosol.F and phys/module_physics_init.F etc. These questions involve quite detailed data and codes processing inside the mode. I need to further dig into the codes to find relevant information. I will also talk to our expert if necessary. This will take some time. Thanks for your patience.

Thank you very much for your help.
“SSA radiative effects cover the entire model domain.”——Where is this indicated in the code? Could you show me?
And, I saw there is an output variable AOD5503D in the WRF registry. In the scenario I set, does the output variable AOD5503D represent the AOD of sea salt aerosol when aer_type = 3?
“These questions involve quite detailed data and codes processing inside the mode. I need to further dig into the codes to find relevant information. I will also talk to our expert if necessary. Would you please upload your namelist form me to take a look?

Note that the option "aer_opt =2" also involves other options such as aer_aod550_opt and aer_angexp_opt. Different combinations of these options lead to quite different model behaviors.
