Hello,
I am trying to simulate a fast moving idealized tropical cyclone in WRF-ARW, and I am hoping to have the storm loop back to the right side of the domain when it hits the leftmost side of the domain. For this simulation, I have only one nested domain, but I have not been able to get the storm to successfully loop when setting the periodic_x boundary conditions to true for domains 1 and 2. The attached figure shows how the storms begins to move to the north when it runs into the leftmost boundary. If there are any suggestions for possible fixes, I would appreciate it!
Thank you!
