SWDOWN has zero values only

One of the variables in my wrfout file is SWDOWN.
Unfortunately all values are zero.
I suppose I have to set certain physics options in the namelist.wrf file.
I have inspected the fortran code, but was unable to figure out which options I should use.
I am running WRF V3.9.
Hope someone can provide clarification.
 
Can you post your namelist.input fo me to take a look? Have you modified the codes in WRFV3.9?

Sorry for not answering sooner.
I made a silly mistake.
The run started and ended during the night, hence no sunlight and swdown is zero.
