SWDOWN instantaneous or mean in the hour?

Hello everybody! Greetings from Uruguay!

I'm working with WRF outputs, focused on evaluate the skill of the Global Horizontal Irradiation forecast.

For that I'm using the WRF SWDOWN variable, but when comparing I'dont know if it's an instantaneous value in that time or the average in the previous hour or the average in the next hour (timestamp definition issues...).

Anybody can give me a clue? Can I know thats definition from the wrf output file?
