If you get a segmentation fault when running wrf, after using tc-bogusing, this is likely due to an issue in which the bogus scheme causes corruption in the soil information. To get past this, take all the necessary fields (i.e., all but soil fields) from the new auxinput file created by tc.exe, and use those values to overwrite the values for those same variables in the original met_em file, so that you can maintain the original soil information. You can do this by using NCL or by using netCDF modifying tools.
