Dear Office,

I am a little bit confused about the following sentence in your "namelist.wps: Best Practices". Could you please take an example for me?

It's best to keep the ratio of input data resolution to the coarsest grid resolution (on your domain) to no more than 1:10

Hi Stella,
The sentence here means that there should be no more than a 10:1 ratio between the resolution of the input (first-guess, or outside model, such as GFS), and the resolution of domain 1 in your simulation. I agree the wording on that web page is a bit odd and confusing. I'll make a note to modify it for clarity. Thanks for pointing it out!
