Ungribbing ECMWF grib2 files

Hello,

I am attempting to ungrib ECMWF HRES files in grib2 format (surface and pressure are in two separate files), but I keep getting this error message:

Looking for data at time 2018-03-01_06
ERROR: Data not found: 2018-03-01_06:00:00.0000

I already tried different dates, but it keeps giving me the same error...

How can I solve this?

Hi,
Can you use the WPS/util/g2print.exe program to see the dates in your ECMWF files - to make sure you're using the right data (compared to the dates you've put in namelist.wps)?

I solved the problem! I needed to split my grib file into separate files for each forecast step
