Usage of dzstretch , max_dz , dzbot.

Can anyone explain how to use dzstretch_u, dzstretch_z, max_dz , dzbot to arrive at vertical distribution with fine vertical grids near surface and top ? How does the above said parameters effect with change in e_vert? What is the unit of max_dz and dzbot.
