very quick question about LU_INDEX

It's this field static? If it is, how can I modify for making it evolves with time?
My problem is the seaice, wich obviusly evolves with time, but not the LAND USE CATEGORY wich sucks.

Hi,
Yes, LU_INDEX is a static field that is provided to the model through the geogrid program. I believe if you are using sea ice that evolves over time, it will update the area of seaice, which shouldn't be affected by the landuse type, as seaice is always a water point.
