Vortex-following: The inner domain does not move

Hi, I am trying to use vortex-following with three domains. Domain 1 is the parent, and domains 2 and 3 are moving nests.
But, the run always stops with the following timing.

Grid 2 New SW corner (in parent x and y): 123 84
Timing for main: time 2011-08-26_19:27:00 on domain 1: 9.52316 elapsed seconds

The start time is 2011-08-24 00UTC, and the end is 2011-09-06 00UTC.
Could you tell me why the vortex-following stopped?

Can you attach all of your rsl* files for this case? You can package them together into a single *.tar file and just attach that. Thanks!

Hi,
The error message in your rsl file shows

horizontal interp error - island, using average  -0.4166667

I'm not exactly sure what this means, but the code is found in share/interp_fcn.F. However, I also notice you are using an old version of WRF (V3.4.1). There have been numerous updates and bug fixes to the code since that version. Can you try with a newer version to see if you still run into the same error?
