Will identical runs produce different result?

Dear WRF community,

I am doing a sensitivity test of my WRF case. Before that, I want to ask will identical simulation produce different result.

If not, how large will the deviation be? e.g., the deviation in 2m air temperature.

Really appreciate if you could give some comments. Thanks.

Hi Tony,
If everything about the simulation is identical - same computing system, same libraries, same compiler (and version of those compilers and libraries), same input data, domain, dates, and the same namelist files are used, then the simulations should be identical. You should be able to run the same case over and over and get identical results every time.
