Hello. I have no experience in running WRF-ARW but I am interested in doing a simulation of an intense tropical cyclone (ex. Typhoon Haiyan) as my research. I am planning to use 1°x1° NCEP FNL reanalysis data and microphysics and cumulus schemes. My laptop's processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-6006U CPU @ 2.00GHz 1.99 GHz. My laptop also has a 4gb RAM. I am planning to have a 25x25 km domain. My concern is, can my laptop handle this kind of simulation? If not, what is the recommended minimum processor and RAM?
