WRF em_real

Dear sir,
sir there is one folder em_real under test case and one file run in which we find namelist.input,''

sir if we want to simulate a real thunderstorm case then in which folder we have to run, weather it is in run folder or test/em_real/

and whats the difference betwwen these two

According to the users guide either works. I prefer the run folder.

Thankyou very much for your reply, as i can see every things in em_real is linked with run/

You can run in either test/em_real or in WRF/run. There is no difference in the results. Just remember to modify namelist.input for your case, and put wrfinput and wrfbdy to the directory where you will run the case.
