wrf.exe output files map projection

Hello,
just a generall question about wrf.exe output files in ideal cases. Is there any way I can change the map projection (for example to Lambert etc.) as this cannot be changed in namelist.input as far as I know. For real cases you can do this in WPS, but in ideal, the output files are in Cylindrical Equidistance by default.
