WRF Model Evaluation

I want to evaluate my WRF model for heavy precipitation event or extreme rainfall for Bangladesh. Which methods I need to follow for evaluation. Is there any specific hands on guidelines or anyone out there that help me in this process.

P.S we have used MET tools for further analysis but when we wanted to run statistical analysis we dont know the procedure. Even we run we dont know if it is correct or not. As we are new in this cases. We have learned how to compile and run WRF, MPAS. Please help me as I am a new learner. Guide me in step by step for evaluation.​

MET is commonly used for verifying WRF simulations. We use it frequently and the results are reliable.

I guess some people in the community may develop specific verification package other than MET. However, we don't collect such information.
