WRF output at custom time steps?

Hi All

I was wondering if it is possible to get WRF output at specific times. For example, we would like to get outputs at 5 min intervals every 30 minutes. That is outputs at 25,30,35 mins and then 55,60,65 mins and so on.

I am not aware of such an option, but is it too much of a problem to just have output every 5 minutes, and then just ignore the outputs you don't need? It's only 2x the storage space. Otherwise, I suppose you could use restarts to chop the simulation into several pieces, and then use a tool of your choice to delete the unwanted timesteps.

Unfortunately there is not a built-in option that would allow for this. You could, perhaps, write a script that would immediately remove the output you don't need.
