WRF simulation to prepare input for wrf-hydro

Hello, I want to compile a wrf-hydro simulation with input data created by wrf (geo_em.d01.nc, wrfinput_d01.nc and wrfout*).
Any tips to make sure it's successful? Is there anything I should check carefully? I have problems with the execution of wrf-hydro so at least I want to make sure that the first part works.
