WRF TEST on Orography/SST/Heat Surface Fluxes

Dear everyone.
I would like to know your opinion on how to set up the following sensitivity tests:
- Reduced Orography. Act directly on HGT_M of the geo_em file? or met_em? using NCL / NCO programs.
- changes in SST. Replace in wrfinput? (after real.exe) or in met_em? (after WPS procedures).
- changes in surface heat fluxes. Act on namelist.input parameter isffix?

I would suggest to change HGT_M in geo_em, and change SST in met_em. For surface heat flux, it is calculated by the model physics. If this is a real data case, I am not sure why you want to change it and how to.
