WRF urban module

Hello, I am a new user in WRF urban module. I would like to ask after I replace some of the urban land grid into 3 categories (31-33) + turn on the urban module (Say sf_urban_physics = 1) Will the Bulk option still function on the urban grid cell (e.g. Urban and Built-up Land =13 in MODIFIED_IGBP_MODIS_NOAH)?
