Hello,
I am currently trying to run nested grids within WRF while using WRFDA. The user guide isn't too helpful on this subject, and because of the required naming conventions I was wondering if there was a way to also assimilate into the child nest.
Or, does it really not matter? Can I assimilate into the parent domain (per the user guides' instructions) and continue to use the same wrfinput_d02, which will just use the same obs but still run at a finer resolution?
