Are there prescribed aerosols in WRF model?

Hi,

I am curious if there are prescribed aerosols value in WRF model (not WRF-Chem or WRF-ACI). If yes, where I could find those species and values
I am thankful for any idea about this.

WRF provides Water Ice Friendly Aerosol or black carbon aerosol that can be used with aerosol-aware Thompson scheme. Please see details on the page:

Thanks a lot for this information! I used Morrison 2-moments for mp_physic, so does it mean there is no impact of aerosols on meteorology when run wrf only?

You are right that Morrison 2-moments scheme doesn't explicitly consider aerosol impacts.

Hello! I would like to ask a follow-up question related to this.

When I use mp_physics_opt = 8, and RRTMG scheme for radiation, is there any aerosol impact? Or is it a clear-sky situtation?
