I have a question about using FGAT (First Guess at Appropriate Time) in WRFDA.
Can FGAT be used with conventional observations in ob.bufr format? If yes, how should this be set up?
I also want to ask whether FGAT can be used for radiance assimilation. I am working with Himawari brightness temperature data (L1AHITBR) in NetCDF format.
Is FGAT supported for this type of radiance data, or would the observations need to be converted to another format first?
