Hi everyone,
I am running a WRF simulation with the urban canopy model (UCM). My WRF version is 4.6.0.
I want to create my own urban canopy parameters. I can generate GeoTIFFs from GIS, but the static data variable URB_PARAM is a single multidimensional array referenced by one path. How can I import my custom data into URB_PARAM? Specifically:
1. What is the correct way to convert and load my GeoTIFF-derived parameters into the URB_PARAM array so WPS/WRF will use them?
2. Can I organize my custom URB_PARAM files by creating multiple subdirectories under the URB_PARAM folder, or does WRF expect a specific file structure/filenames?
3. To run the BEP scheme effectively, which specific urban canopy fields/files (and formats) are mandatory (for example: building height distributions, plan area fraction, FRC_URB2D, etc.)?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
