I want to read SST using ghrsst

I recently noticed that NCEP's SST data is no longer available. So I'm thinking of using this site (GitHub - bbrashers/WPS-ghrsst-to-intermediate: Converts JPL PODAAC GHRSST netCDF files to WPS Intermediate version 5 files) to incorporate SST, but I'm a beginner and I don't know what to do or how. What should I do first?

Ken,
Please download SST data first, then run the codes provided by Dr. Brashers to convert the SST data to intermediate format.
Other grid format data can be ungribbed following the standard WPS procedure.
After all data are written in WPS intermediate formate, you may specify
fg_name = 'FILE', 'SST', and run metgrid.exe. Here "FILE" is the prefix of the files produced by ungrib.exe, " SST" is the prefix of the sst intermediate file you created.
