please assist with lat lon selection

I am trying to do a test simultion but I am failling to select a region which covers SADC region (Southern African Countries ) please find attached namelists for your ssistancerainfall_plot5.png

Can you tell me the lat/lon of the center of SADC region ? Also, how large do you want your domain to be and what resolution you prefer to have? With these information I will be able to help specify some options in namelist.wps.
 
The approximate center coordinates of the SADC region are:

Latitude: -20.0 degrees Longitude: 25.0 degrees
Please use the attached picture as reference. I want to cover a domain like that. Domain.png

have you tried using the WRFDomainWizard?

WRF Portal

WRF Portal is the graphical user interface (GUI) front end for configuring and running both WRF cores: ARW and NMM, as well as configuring and running your own programs/scripts (like post). It simplifies the selection/localization of your domain, the running and monitoring of WRF, running...

Please see the attached namelist.wps. This is for your reference and you can always adjust grid interval and grid numbers to increase/decrease the domain size.

Are you running the standard WPS? or you run with DomainWizard? if you us the latter, pleas switch to standard WPS.

I ran standard WPS and plotted the domain , which looked fine. Please see the attached plot.
