Hello.
I would like to ask if someone has some other data download point for GFS 0p25 data.
Currently for my options are:
Hope it doesn't happen with Amazon AWS one... until now it works well.
In our case, when downloading from NOAA I get redirected transparently to a CDN, which depends of our ISP, and sometimes it acts up and we don't get all the files required for our simulations.
I would like to know if someone has another way or some other considerations for the data download.
Kind regards,
I would like to ask if someone has some other data download point for GFS 0p25 data.
Currently for my options are:
- NOAA repo: Index of /pub/data/nccf/com/gfs/prod
- Last option is via noaa-ftp, but that is the very last option that I have (5 hours downloading data, but it does not use the CDN)
- Google Cloud: repo >here< (can see dirs from some date on 2021, until 20250612 )
- Amazon AWS: >here< still current ( if you are going to use a web browser, make sure to open a new tab and put the specific date-HH required for url: noaa-gfs-bdp-pds.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html#gfs.YYYYMMDD/HH/atmos/ )
Hope it doesn't happen with Amazon AWS one... until now it works well.
