Run ERA5.1

Hi,

I have a problem when I run WPS with ERA5.1 which is an updated corrected version provided by Copernicus Climate Data Store | mainly for the period 2000-2006. I tried one simulation day for several years and none of them worked.
However, I have no issues running the reanalysis version (ERA5) for the same years/day. Everything ran properly.
I am using VTable.ERA5. Does it need other VTable? Any other ideas?

My log file shows the error below:

Hi,
I'm not familiar with this data type; however, I would suggest using the util/g1print.exe program to look at the data and check the codes to make sure they align with the codes in Vtable.ERA5. If you notice differences, you could modify the vtable to match the codes you need. You may also be able to search the word "copernicus" in this forum and find some useful information from other users who may have inquired about it. If you figure out a working vtable, let us know!

Would you please download ERA5.1 data from NCAR RDA? Here is the website for download.

This dataset also contains modified Copernicus Climate Change Service informatio and I believe it works fine for WRF. You can still use Vtable.ERA5 to ungrib.

Let us know if you have any issues.
