Using GEOS-5 data to generate ice friendly and water friendly aerosols.

Hello WRF-CHEM community.

I have been trying to embed GEOS-5 data namely 'MERRA2_400.inst3_3d_aer_Nv.20251006.nc4' (it is a mixing ratio file) for example into WRF so that the updated Thompson aerosol aware version is able to read them. I might have understood wrong but I got to that particular conclusion from here , and here and here.
I understood that the new microphysics could read the reanalysed data.
However, when I put the link to that data in &metgrid section of wps file under the constants = merra2 file, metgrid is unable to read the file. It shows an "endian" problem with the 3d files, while with 2d files, it just keeps running without showing errors or anything of the sort.
What I actually want to do is embed satellite actual concentrations into WRF's environment so WRF microphysics can deal with it.

Does anyone have any idea how to insert GEOS-5 data to be readable by METGRID, or is there another roundabout way towards this?

Thank you in advance !
